Directions

Preheat oven to 350℉ (180℃). Prepare 8x4 inch loaf pan.

Cream butter, sugar and egg.

Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk, stir in nuts and raisins if using.

Bake for 55 to 60 minutes.
